Over the past few years Holy Communion has commissioned several new altar “frontals,” seasonal coverings with specific colors for specific celebrations. This summer, in collaboration with Jeff Wunrow, a local Episcopalian liturgical artist, we are inviting you to help us create a new piece of art. Folks from Holy Communion are invited to donate a piece of fabric, at least 8 inches by 8 inches in diameter, that will be incorporated in a new “green” altar frontal.
Representing our Diversity
We are specifically encouraging members of the congregation to bring in pieces of fabric and weaving that represent our diverse cultures and heritages. We will turn all of the gathered fabric and weaving to Jeff on July 22, and we hope to bless the new frontal as part of our “homecoming” celebration in mid September.
