Mark your calendar for Sunday October 29 and join us for a carnival, chili cook-off and more!
All are invited to join us on the corner of Jackson and Delmar after our 10:30am service on Sunday October 29 for the second annual Family and Friends Fall Festival. Come for games, great food, and fun for all ages.
Members: We are looking for people who would be willing to help with all the festivities including carnival games, cake baking for the cake walk, donating pumpkins, and general set up.
Dust off your cake pans and mixing bowls– we are bringing back the cakewalk this year! The cakewalk is a simple and fun carnival game for all ages. Each participant stands on one of many numbers organized in a circle. As the music starts, the participants walk around the circle until the music stops. A number is pulled out of a hat, and whomever is standing on that number wins a cake of their choice! We are currently accepting any and all cake donations. All sizes and varieties of cakes are needed, including gluten-free. The more cakes we have, the longer the game will last!
Contact Colleen Haggerty if you can bake a cake for the cake walk. All sizes and varieties of cakes are needed, including gluten-free.
