Lent Practice of Prayer and Discernment

Are you facing one of life’s big questions? Are you standing at a time of transition? Be a part of our Lenten discernment group at Holy Communion.
On the Wednesdays of Lent we will have a gathering for Contemplative Prayer each Wednesday Evening at 6:00pm. Each week we’ll explore various prayer practices from Silent Centering Prayer to the Stations of the Cross. The evening prayers will finish by 6pm, and we will gather for a simple soup supper.
During supper, we will have a chance to talk about the spiritual practice of discernment. How do we listen for God’s voice in the big questions (and the small quandaries)? How can we make decisions in our own lives, and in the life of the church?
All are welcome to participate in both or either the services of prayer and the dinner/discussion. Join us.
