Prayer and Community during “Social Distancing”

On this page, we hope to post ways to connect while we can’t be physically together.

For now, we are gathering sign ups for a the following times to connect via “Zoom” and conference call. FEEL FREE TO PROPOSE ANOTHER TIME to a member of the clergy.

Mondays at 6pm we will have contemplative prayer (with a significant pause for silence. If you arrive late and it’s quiet, just join the silence). We will continue with a brief check in after. This gathering then continues as our class “Living the Heart of Christianity in the Easter Season.

Tuesdays at 8:30 pm. Our HOCO Pack group is gathering later in the evening, especially for folks who need to wait until the kids are settled for the night.

Wednesdays at 11am we will have a conference call (accessible by phone) prayer, a check in, and then our usual lectionary bible study (lots of folks from the Guild, but all are welcome). (Reading Lessons for the following Sunday available here). You can send an email to the church, or call our director of operations Cheyanne 315-721-7401 and leave your phone number. We will call you directly! (This call is especially for folks who have trouble accessing other technology)

Saturdays at 9:30am we have Godly Play for kids.

The First Saturday of each month at 8am our “Men’s Prayer” group, one of the longest running small groups at Holy Communion, is meeting.

Sundays we have a Zoom “virtual coffee hour” call after the live cast. Look for the links below the livestream on Sunday mornings

Also, feel free to propose another time, or an affinity group (20s and 30s, Medical professionals, Parents. We can get you set up to host!)
