Organ Concert November 21st

The first inaugural concert to celebrate the return of Holy Communion’s Organ, following the once-in-a-century refurbishment of the instrument between 2018 and 2021, will take place on Sunday November 21st at 4pm. The concert celebrates the call of our new organist Dr. Stephen Z. Cook, and a light reception will follow outdoors after the concert (weather permitting).

The Holy Communion health protocols will be in place, including a limit of 80 participants. We encourage you to register ahead of the concert.

COVID POLICIES:

By registering and attending, I attest that the following is true for myself and all members of my household accompanying me:

  • Vaccination: All people eligible for vaccination are required to be fully vaccinated before attending worship or a gathering indoors at Holy Communion. (As additional age cohorts become eligible, a reasonable amount of time for children to get vaccinated may be factored into the “full vaccination” requirement).

  • No Symptoms: No COVID-related symptoms in last 24 hours

  • Testing: No COVID-positive test in the last 14 days, and not waiting on test results.

  • No close contact (less than 6 feet apart for more than 15 minutes or unmasked at close range) with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

The organ before the renovation:

This concert marks the finish line of a multi-year project, part of our 150th anniversary capital campaign. If you’d like to see a video of the “before,” you can watch our former organist, Connor Scott and the rector describe the difficult situation our organ faced . Thank you to all who supported the important work!
